Have you informed CIC about your 7 months absence? because as per CIC (its on CIC website) if you travel outside Canada for more than 2 weeks you need to inform CIC. I guess there shouldn't be a problem in regards to travelling as long as CIC was informed. And for "RQ" you can't say anything...
