You should be able to get your info once they begin processing...if you don't have a client ID, you can try calling the toll free number My app was received October 27th and I was able to see it online as of Jan 12 or so, about a week after they began processing.

The lag is 1-3 months - I think - so you should be close if it hasn't happened already. That process could take a little time though.

That seems like a long time to have no action taken on the file. Mine was received the same day as yours and began processing January. I don't know much about the process but maybe a call would be prudent to make sure your file didn't fall behind the file cabinet. Anyone else agree?

Actually, you can also get a work permit through a company, start working, then apply. Your permit is tied to the company, but you can stay here legally and work until you get AIP, then apply for the OWP. Or Send the OWP app on with the PR application. I am doing this, thats how I know it's...
