I think once you get your file number that means your application is in process. sometimes they just forget change your status to "in process" like mine. so they change my status after receiving my medical results which means my application almost finish. right now my status is " decision made"...

I do not know why my application has been processed so quickly. however, i check my application status everyday, once i get any problems i e-mail to Ottawa.
