    Sorry guys I am away for sometime and couldn't catch you up.. @jeea: sorry I couldn't reply to you...it's in jan that my dd got encashed...it only took me around 25 days to get my visa after I submitted my fee... @srivastav: Congrats!!! I guess you might have already got your visa...

    Thank you Surinderbanga15. As you you too have received MR and PPR on the same date, most probably your status on the ECAS gets changed in sometime soon. I took me exactly a month to receive my pp.

    Thank you both for your replies. I am happy to share with you that I received my Passport today with visa stamped on it. The visa was for a duration of 12 months.

    @Knight_Crusader: Thank you for the information. @renypaulinj: I could see that both of us received the medical request on the same day i.e. on 8th Nov, 2012. My Visa office is New Delhi and I have submitted my passport and medicals on 26th Dec, 2012.
