I have another question. How long does CIC take to reply for a status query mail ? Our attorney sent an email asking for status last thursday (sept 26th) but haven't got a reply back. Is it true that they usually reply back within 2 days..

sure i will... we applied the PR through an attorney and so anything we apply shld be through them. we shld first get a hold of them and through them we have to apply for the GCMS notes. Waiting for a reply from them now.

i din even know that you can apply for GCMS notes before 12 / 13 months. how long did it take for you to receive it after you applied? we actually have not travelled much at all except for a few trips to our home country once in every 2 yrs.
