Indeed!!! actually, I checked last night (around 11) still saying application received... then my husband checked again in the morning status has changed to "in Process"... OMG~~~~ :o

Good news from HKVO today, My case has been working in processing~~~ on March 13~~~

Hi Sugus, I have heard the worst case from VO for keeping the passport for over 3 months, one of the applicant submitted his passport in Nov and return in Feb. Be prepared they will do it again, however since HKVO starts working on family class cases, I believe they should work faster.

Thank you oasisfairy! Normally, the waiting time between AR2 to IP in HKVO is about 20 days to 1 months, but you know it's the Xmas and Chinese New Year in between. I hope they will catch up after the holidays are over! Good luck on all of us!!

After receiving AOR2, the longest waiting period starts... HKVO takes time to process family class sponsorship, my case has transferred to Hong Kong over 2 months, nothing heard from them yet. But I am not the worst, some applicants got hold their passport for over two months and still nothing...

Hi, Oasisfairy, I received DM1 on Dec 04, and then AOR2 received by email on 16 Dec from Hong Kong visa office.

Regarding CIC website, the Mississauga office is working on the application received on 27 December. I am sure you will receive the AOR very soon by email ( if you provided email address). My case is through Hong Kong VO as well, hope to hear from them soon... Good luck on your app!
