I thought there is a system whereby people with professional accounting qualifications in their home country can be certified and practise as professional accountants in Canada.

I have obtained police certificate from Nigeria. I only sent the data page of my passport, passport photo and fingerprints. The finger print document was scanned to me. I sent N15K to the perosn that helped me for payment and logistics. It took one day. Zico

The situation with the Mexican embassy here is different. We had approached them but they could not help in any way. We will try and ask if they can do the letter for us but since PGR specifically asked for a letter from CIC, I dont know if they will accept the letter from the Mexican Consulate...
