Hey klemzo, have u called CIC to get status update on ur application. I applied online and when i called CIC last week , they told me that they couldnt find my file and want to send email to them to get update on my file. Is it same with you too??

I called CIC and they are unable to locate my file now and told me to email to get update on my file. So I emailed them and no reply as of now But I know someone who got his work permit restored on feb 18th and he applied on Oct 1st. So i guess they r getting there but slowly :) lets hope for...

Hey I have applied for restoration of my study permit on Nov 1st 2012. I call them frequently and the tell me its in process but when i called them last week they were not able to find my file too and that worried me too. Can u please tell me the email address the agent gave you. thank you

katie07 Hey the restoration time is 16 weeks according to cic call centre. But for you its more than 16 weeks. Did u try calling cic call centre and asking whats going on with ur file and how long will it take?

Hey Ethan.P I applied online too but even then CIC is telling me that it will take 16 weeks. I applied on Nov 1st and they told me to check after feb 25th 2013. I dont think it matters whether u apply online or paper application as restoration applications goes to diff department i guess. And...
