Oh i c, but you know what, I think if they have collected your parents' biometrics before, they won't collect it again. that is what my parents have been told back in 2013, they told them that this is required only once. but for sure Canada is tightening up everything more and more.

It's been like more than 4 years now since they have started collecting biometrics in Egypt even for a visitor visa. They collected my parents' biometrics back in 2013 :) but it is MUCH more expensive now!

Cairo is my visa office. I really don't' know about other visa offices but it's amazing how different each country and each case timeline is different.

I never got "received" it went from we sent you a medical exam request to passed right away. medical results originally sent April 29, they requested more test on May 2, results sent May 8 and got the passed status May 9. hope that help.

I got my sponsorship approval April 6, then my file got transferred to my local visa office then my parents got an email with for PCC, PPR and Medical April 16.
