This might seem like a silly question, but can you land 24/7 or is there a time of day where the "landing" officials are not available? We're waiting on my husband's PP to be returned (Canada Post tracking says it shipped today YAY!), and I want to run to the border ASAP once we get it!

We got married Feb 27, 2010, put everything together during the first week of March (I took it off), and we sent the application mid-March...it was sent back, and we resubmitted in May, but that's another story.

The key is to not over think things, or you will drive yourself mad throughout the process. Do your best to show your relationship is genuine, and CIC will see it for what it is. I think there is such a thing as overkill when putting together an application. The rule of quality vs. quantity...

My husband's file started processing in Buffalo on 06-Aug-10, complete with RPRF, no additional documents required, and we just got a PPR on Tuesday. I think they're just being slow, but order your CAIPS notes if you want to ease your mind. :)

Well I woke up at 6am to a DM change in e-cas, and by 2:30pm my hubby had a PPR in his Gmail. I had him rush to get his hair cut, and his pictures taken so we could mail everything out tomorrow. $33 worth of Black's pictures later, I got paranoid, and decided to measure the face...not up to...

We finally got Decision Made this morning. Now to wait for the letter/email. Since his medicals expire the first week of March, I wonder if it's possible they will grant him a slight extension on it, or if they will rush us through the rest of the process. Either way works for us!
