My son's application (end of May 2010) was transferred to NY from Buffalo in (approx) August last year. Since then he's heard his CSQ wasn't passed on so that had to be rectified. They also notified that he needed an FBI clearance but he has never lived in the US. I think that was about...

My son gets his very quickly. He is on his third working holiday visa now and it's always been very quick. Maybe even just a week.

I can't help as I don't know anything but felt that as there was no other reply to your frantic email you needed to hear from someone. You are not alone is this process. Your 'sweetie' will get his stuff organised and things will work out fine. Look after yourself and your baby. :D
