Scarborough office / timeline after test

finally, it's all done. 88 people in the ceremony, half an hour and it's over. I asked around. Most people took the test around the second week of March. I'm logging off this forum. It has been 5 years since 20010, when I started applying for my PR. Good luck to all.

CIC is driving people nuts! I did some analysis and found that RQ comes actually quickly. Processing starts, in 3 months no RQ, you are good. Test, in 2 months, no RQ, you are good. Try to focus on your life, and let it be whenever it will be.

This is about right. I know police background check is mostly 3 - 4 months in this country. If there is any foul play, it can easily stretch to a few years. To analyse the situation from the game theory perspective, the government has no incentive to speed up the process. Actually the...

4 years living in Canada, I learned that patience is the most important thing in this country. An application for a volunteer position took 6 months to process, 4 pages. Police background check is 4 months or more. Any public projects will take at least twice the time as planned. Guess what...

haha, you have to understand that the call center agents have no incentives to help you. Their job is actually to put you off as much as possible. Suppose they always give you all the updates you wish to have, then they will be flooded with phone calls. And what do they gain by that? nothing...

in your case, call again and make it really nice and beg for help. People got invitations already from your testing lot, and there is a chance that your letter is missing. The agents always try to put you off, no matter what your situation is. You have to push them for your own good.
