Thanks Khans and w_aamr.You guys solved a huge dilemma. I understand that the delay may be avoidable, but it's better to keep the CHC informed about your status. Thank you so much yet again, good folks.

    Postpone Medical examination

I'm sure there are many who'd want to know the answer. After we receive our medical examination request, is it possible to inform the CHC about the delay in taking the examination due to unforeseen reasons. Such as a business travel, etc. Do they consider such a request and grant the approval...

Forms changed? ***Seniors Pls help urgently***

My belief is that CIC will want all new applicants post Jan-2010 to submit the updated forms. In IM0008 a new field for Native language has been added. Just for everybody's info. And thanks once again to anushauc for bringing it to our notice :)

    Transcripts

I would be very sceptical about sending such an envelope which has beenn accidently opened & glued again. But one never knows. Things can go either ways with the Visa Officer.

Doubts during filling form for FSW

Like I previously mentioned, I have left Canada and I'm back in my home country. My touch point would be the landlord first because I have his contact numbers and not the local police person from that city. Thanks for your advice though, Leon.

Doubts during filling form for FSW

Leon, could you tell me the difference between a "police verification" and a "police clearance"? I ask this because I stayed for some time in Canada and I am worried about starting a long process while being in my home country. Thanks in advance.

    transcript

You can request the University to provide you with photocopies of the transcripts which they will later seal in the envelope. Usually one doesn't get it but try and see if they comply. But you are not supposed to tamper with the envelope and raise doubts in the VO/IO's mind.

    App was rejected

Very sad to hear about this. In my humble opinion I think that the application was rejected not because you didn't have the budgets/hiring responsibilities. Since the procedure clearly states that the candidate should meet "all or SOME of the responsibilities". It's a matter of convincing the IO...

    Proof of Experience

I do not agree with your suggestion on being honest with the employer. Afterall one can never predict the outcome of discussing personal matters with office seniors. Shareit must be cautious in approaching the concerned people because of the unpredictable environment.

    Proof of Experience

I cannot say much about the "print screens" but your contract document, salary slip and any other appointment letter should be fine to prove that you work for the current company. However, as far I know the responsibilities are not mentioned in some letters and hence it will be tough for you to...
