Same here Moeytja. Their last requests, med and police, were both submitted late Sep 2012. Since then, I didn't here any thing yet !

Hi, I sent my medical and police at the same time. Only my medical was confirmed. Although my FedEx tracking number said both were received and signed for by staff.

Hello Everyday, After getting my AIP, I submitted my medical results on October (received by CIC on November 8). That was after the release of the new eMedical measures. Does that mean I'll have to redo my medical?

Hello there, My AIP was received on Aug 2012. After that they requested police cert. + medical. Today my status shows: (Medical results have been received). They didn't mention any thing about the police cert. How long it usually takes from there? Thank you

Hi Wolanila, I have done my medical + police in my home country and had the results sent by Fedex to Vegreville. The FedEx tracking system tells me that it was received on Oct 1st. When do you think the ecas will confirm receiving them?

One possible meaning to that is they "started processing" the applicant's application after they have approved the sponsor's application. I'm not sure though! Someone else may confirm that..

Thank you perkele. Let's hope the risk is minimal although anxious applicants like me keep imagining worst-case scenarios. Since I have a valid study permit, I was wondering what if the border agent asked me why I'm not "studying". As far as the school is concerned, I'm full time student...

Thank you Wolanila. That post was very informative.. Since I'm already out of Canada now, and my TRV and Study Permit are valid until Sep 2013, then I'm more likely to hear back from the CIC before having to extend my Study permit and TRV. I took the risk already by leaving Canada. Let's hope...

Yes, I got it (Aug 31st). In the letter, they mentioned that I need to submit a police clearance from my home country + medical test. I did already. Now waiting for stage 2 approval.

Contacting the landlord? hmmm.. I wonder if this is a new security measure or has been done before. Do yiu think they do it to everybody or just selected cases?
