Please share your experience regarding your admission application to M.Eng. program in Mechanical Engineering at top tier schools in Canada like U of T, Waterloo, McGill etc. How hard you think it would be to get into them with credentials from overseas.

I think, it is advantageous to have a close relative in Canada for the purpose of getting a visa. The VO would be interested to know if someone close to you would be there to help you settle and adapt to in Canada. It should be a plus though.

You have to apply for both I think. But I'm not sure. Senior members can confirm it.
