If I finish with my refugee claim, go back to my mainland, get there my passport back, can I enter Canada with valid work permit under LMO?

I am refugee claiment, i still did not have hearing, i approved on LMO, apply for work permit couple weeks ago, Q: how can i get back my passport and dont leave a country, becouse lawyer asked $5000 :( Q: maybe i can do this my self, back my passport
