Anyone was finally rejected for faulty/lack of required fund/bank statement.

You will need to have the minimum funds before you are issued the visa. This is a strict requirement and you are expected to have maintained the amount until you land. You shouldn't have messed up with the minimum funds.

Application for Visitor denied and Work Visa too =( now what?

In my opinion, this was the main reason that they denied you. You overdid your documents. The Green Card application screwed it for you. By volunteering your intention, you severed your tie to your home country and all the documents that you presented to show your ties to your home country...

Happy new year to all----- A question!!

i'm not sure if you could withdraw your file by email. they said a 'signed letter' and how would you sign an email? others can confirm if they withdrew by email. this is the case-specific-enquiry form (i assume your visa office is london)...

Happy new year to all----- A question!!

they say, for withdrawal, a signed written request. so email is not an option. but you can also write the signed request, scan it and attach it on the case-specific-enquiry form. you can then post the paper request afterwards.

Happy new year to all----- A question!!

ihosam: sadly, with only 59 points, they will reject your application and forfeit your money. the embassy put it clearly that you will be refunded if your application is not yet paper-screened. unfortunately, no one will tell you whether the embassy paper-screened your application or not...

    Enquiry!!

i was referring to this quote above. your case could not be approved unless you scored 67 points (or 66, in some exceptional cases). if i understood you right, you were advising the OP to wait to hear back from CIC when he has scored only 59 points. anyhow, no worries. ihosam: you gotta read...

    Enquiry!!

the reply from CIC is a standard response to inform you that your documents are in order, but not assessed yet. with 55+4=59points, it's an outright rejection. so if u can get your money back, i suggest you should asap. if you request for more time, they may not give you. they may have their own...

I am Toronto based. Any help needed Guys and Gals? Its free !!

hi bsrk68, really, a good service you are providing for new and aspiring immigrants. thumbs up. yea, like you said, canada is a tough place for a new immigrant. unfortunately, to make it in canada, one needs to know someone somewhere. in my experience, to get a job, it's not what you actually...

Work experience as a Phd Student/Research Assistant

any paid work in a university (that is tallied with a PhD program) will only and most likely be taken as a 'postgraduate research/teaching assistant' position, no matter what the nature of the actual task is. the immigration officers are usually not stupid enough to consider a research...

    DENIED-LETTER FROM THE EMBASSY...

sorry. i meant, documents are returned if the refusal is from CIO sydney, NS. to my knowledge, visa offices of embassies do not normally return documents.

    DENIED-LETTER FROM THE EMBASSY...

reymund, im afraid to say so, but it is a rejection. and when they reject they return all the documents with an accompanying letter. u gotta wait for the letter and find out the reason of the refusal. u can not assume anything at this stage. unless u provided an obviously fake document or...

    Mailing PR card outside Canada

this cannot be true. in principle, it is illegal to send a PR card overseas by post.

    USA visit visas refused...

this statement is completely wrong. the application form explicitly asks if one has ever been refused any visa, anywhere, anytime.

    plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me............................

it's an implicit law that immigrants are expected to be able to communicate in English well. a basic english is just not good enough, and could be a ground for denial.

    Mailing PR card outside Canada

certain subtle info, which defy logic, has little to do with seniority or age. sometimes, regardless of expertise, u do know this info or u just don't. for the OP: yes, there is indeed a law enacted for not sending a PR card across the canadian border by post. the phrase says (unquote), if a...

Going to Land !! Bit Scared , pls advice!!

yes, you have to take a full list of GOODS TO FOLLOW at the time of landing. if u don't provide them with this list when you land, you will have to pay taxes on them when u bring them later with you. so, prepare a list, estimate the corresponding price of each item on the list, sum the total...
