az21 - congrats man! enjoy the moment. Has your ecas been updated with anything beyond "We started processing your application on XX XX 2012"

In my case they are saying my application is approved. So that means a security, criminal, b/g checks are done. Correct?

Thanks az21. Its been 43 days, since I took medical exam. I have been refreshing my email countless times in wait for PPR :) The CEC guys are fast, but FSW we all know how slow it is.

FSW is a whole new ball game, I just brought that topic in, to paint a perspective. But lets take only CEC into account. March'13 CEC applicants get MR before Oct, Nov CEC applicants. Thats a fact. According to you, that okay, thats fair. Correct? I am not arguing the fact that CEC...

You need to get your facts straight. March 2013 CEC applicants are starting get Medicals, where as majority of Nov, Dec 2012 are still waiting on medical. Also note the incosistency in ecas updates, some people recieve PPR yet the ecas says in process and doesn't even mention medicals recieved...

jsm your views are based on your good experience. I am Oct '12 CEC applicant with good experience i.e. got medicals. I also have a Apr 2010 FSW application on which I am waiting on PPR. There are FSW applicants who applied a month after me and have a PR. Their processing time IS random for many...
