Congratulations Jen123! Did you select regular mail? I am having mine sent to Canada via regular mail, so will take a little longer (hopefully not that much!) Fingers crossed for the peeps also waiting before me. Your time will come!

Same here. "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." Will I be contacted via email, post or both?

Hi Jen123, I sent my scanned PDF's back last week on the 26th, haven't heard back from them re receipt. I am guessing there won't be one. A general question, will I receive both an email and post mail when I receive COPR? I selected regular post so I am guessing it may take a little longer.

Thanks so much for the information, marcopolocan! So helpful. So Visa exempt = scan and email PPR? Also, I am currently on a working holiday (international experience) - would this be considered temporary resident? Not too fussed though, wouldn't mind a shopping expedition across the border...

I am in the same situation and did include her information on the form, just in case.

Myself and a few others have scanned and emailed both the passport and appendix B. We have also tried to keep it roughly under 3mb. All pages were done in black and at a lower DPI apart from the photo page which was done in colour and of good quality. I am curious to know, does COPR come by email?

A little uneasy as I haven't received a verification reply after asking for one, but then I guess it depends who processes the request...

Only a photocopy/scan of every page of your passport. I would assume they do something with these pages, send them back and when you land, that is when the proper visa is placed into your passport. When you get PPR a form will be attached which explains in detail what you need to do.

Spoke too soon. PPR today 8) Those who submitted by email, how did you go about this? The attachment I received does not list email as an option.

Well I haven't been back here in about two weeks, and so much has progressed since! I got back into the spreadsheet to see so many people around me with updates, so I looked on ecas and saw that my application has gone to in process on March 12! So I have settled in Kelowna, we landed on the...

I would also like to know this, I am flying out of Australia on the 6th March and may have PPR soon, and will need my passport to fly, hopefully I will be able to send a copy? Have most people who have gone through this step only sent copies?

    1. Yes. I am moving to Kelowna on the 10th of March with an IEC visa. I applied for PR back in September so it should be ready around April(ish) after I land. 2. I believe so, yes. "Q: Can I participate in the Canadian IEC initiative more than once? A: Yes, you may participate in the IEC...

In my case, if you are <30 years old, you can also apply for an IEC visa (international experience Canada) which is a 2 year working holiday. I am flying out of Oz on the 6th March and doubt my PR will be squared away by then. This next "batch" of applications are taking so long!

I will be using a door to door pet transport service with Skypet, my cat will be on a separate flight to me. Not a lot more apart from what you have already mentioned. They provide a crate, which you get to keep. They pick up the pet, one or two days board is included as they conduct the AQIS...

What pet transport company are you using? We will be doing the same with our cat via Skypet. Costing $2000ish from Sydney to Kelowna. Jetpets were close to $500 more.

My fingers and toes are crossed for all of us. In the last few days however, I have secured an interview for a job in Kelowna working with my brother in law. I have my plane tickets and will be in Kelowna on the 10th March with my working holiday visa - would love to have PR before then though...
