You do not need to have an LMO, you can apply, being on any work permit, whether it's based on a LMO or not. I'm on a ICE visa (no LMO) and have applied for PNP.

I don't think you can apply for another ICE, it's a maximum of 2 years, but maybe your employer can sponsor you or get you another work permit, talk to them..

Why would they even ask for a RCMP clearance? I thought you'd only need police clearances from any country you lived in longer than 6 months, excluding Canada. When did that change and did they request RCMP clearance along with your other criminal record checks?
