That is a shame. Looks like I'm in the same boat. I will have to wait until August at the earliest. By then it would have been more than 28 months since applying for PR. :-(

My GCMS notes had my medical as "passed" and my criminal as "in progress" before they asked me to redo my medical and PC (a few weeks ago). I assume criminal is to do with PC and so i don't think it matters if it was put in progress by buffalo or not.

Medical was done in September 2011 PC was done and sent to them the same month that we applied, April 2011 e-case status was: Application Received with a note for "Medical results have been received." It still says that.

Yep, my timeline is exactly the same as yours. Application received by Buffalo in April 2011. Medical done in September 2011, which has now expired. Transferred to Ottawa in July 2012. Hasn't been assigned to an officer yet.

I'm also a 2011 April applicant.
