@ NT_PH .. We will do all the paperworks as soon as we have the LMO here then we send it to Manila Embassy. Yung nga sabi ng agent, its a big no to process his work permit here. Nag asked ako pwede punta nalang ng boarder, and he said no... :)
@ragluf..yeah , we're like 10 mins drive to airport but then it would take forever I believe coz yes it is international and surely crazy busy.Thanks for the info in regards to the best time i should place a call..I'll try to contact them this Monday as soon as the clock ticks 8:00 am.. :D

I don't think so. You really have to send all the papers including the proof that you are qualified. And of course, you passport too. As far as the agent ( immigration ) told me that the processing of my dads work permit is the same as the those who are back home trying to get TWP...
Dad got a job offer and his soon to be employer will process his LMO. Phoned the CIC if he can just go to the nearest boarder and get a Work Permit and they replied that he has to send his papers back home since he is from Philippines ( not a visa exempt )..Tried to call them but I just can't...

The immigration officer just asked my parents passport. They even didnt looked for a insurance policy..It was so quick...
