Still waiting for our COPR :( 5 days after our DM my husband received an email from VO saying he had been approved and asking for a scanned copy of the photo page of his passport. Yep I was. I was approved as a sponsor in less then 1 month and we have our Decision made on Ecas for my husband so seems everything was fine without sending my Option C.

    Option C

I simply hadn't done my taxes for the past 2 years when I filed my application. (yes, very bad!) Anyway, I included my T4's and a letter of explanation that I was in the process of filing my taxes. As long as you provide the reasons and give as much information as you can you should be fine.

I'm sponsoring my husband. He's Irish, so it went through London. I think we had a pretty solid application with no red flags and I know that helps the application go quicker.

Apply for jobs before SIN #

I'm just curious what others have done. My husband watches the job postings, so once he gets his Decision Made do you think it would be bad to start applying before he actually has his SIN #? Thanks

Hey All, Glad to hear there is already positive news! We had a request for more personal history in July, which I sent right away. I ordered my GCMS notes and found them really helpful. I received them in August. They said our relationship looks goods, they were waiting for an RCMP check and...

No. You should be fine. You have implied status while they process your visitor visa. Good Luck!
