why is it taking so long for me to get my passport back?!? I sent my passport 5 weeks ago and I know they got it 4 days after I mailed it. grrr I thought the waiting part was over but I guess not.

My ecas says decision made, does that mean my passport should be in the mail now? I'm in Canada with no passport o.o

Oh I forgot to ask does anyone know what I do when I receve my passport from LA, I'm already in Canada do I have to cross the border to the US and come back or is there another way?

not sure all the info needed for the timeline but... application filed may 26, 2011 file transferred Sept. 28, 2011 medical done April 20, 2012 PPR Oct. 10, 2012 anything else? :)

I got an email yesterday saying that my application is complete and they asked for my passport! ;D

I checked ecas today and clicked on the in process thingy and.....it said medicals received! OMG! Finally something is moving along, now if only I knew how much longer I have to wait. I'm trying to not get my hopes up but it's hard.

once you get the medical exam it will take 2-4 months for it to be forwarded to LA.

I'm sorry that you have had to deal with the same problems. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I do agree that it's absurd, there is just no accountability. They can do whatever they want and there isn't really anything we can do but endure the stress and heartache that it causes.

I hope someone gets some good news soon! I requested the notes on my application last week so hopefully I will hear something good for once. I keep seeing articles about immigration revoking lots of permanent residence status but never any good news like "OMG immigration actually starting...

What's the average time for applications out of los angeles? I applied back in May of 2011 but i still haven't gotten any where and they lost my medical exam!
