Any idea about the most recent/current processing time for a work visa?

They dint ask for the passport in the document checklist. I am guessing they will just send a letter confirming the visa extension. Any idea how the passport will get stamped?

Hey Hypn, One last thing as I am in the process of applying. What about the visa? My visa also expires around the same time. So did you apply to the visa office in Buffalo/Detroit? And for the visa, you would have to courier the passport as well. Please advice from your experience. Thanks, Jay

Thanks so much. I have received reply from cic and my File number as well - so that proves my application is under process. I have also submitted my medical reports. So I guess I will include that as well. Hoping for the best and I will keep you informed. What was you processing time? 2-3...
