Just a tip to my fellow julyers, I found my email was sent from Ottawa case processing center, I guess my case was transferred to Ottawa to process, which takes longer I suppose, and for those who got their approval by the end of August, I assume that those cases were processed in Mississauga. :)

Hi dawndarkharp, you need to fill out the form RC65, and you can find the form on CRA website, CRA needs information of your spouse to calculate the GST credits for you, so fill out that form and send it asap if you're worried, I did that last week, lol

I think you're correct, as long as ur following the guide, since Quebec sponsors need to obtain CSQ after getting approved from the CIC

Just a tip for you, for tax purposes, this is the only chance for your wife to declare any assets held in foreign countries, as this value would be counted as cost basis for calculating any capital gain/loss in the future if there is any at the time of disposal. :)
