It's NOT required, but if an IO were to attempt to give you a difficult time, it helps a lot, not many people do this but we have had CBSA tell us it's an excellent idea, we're ALL ABOUT straightforward border crossings.

My husband is immigrating to Canada from the U.S. When we finally receive authorization for PR do THEY (CIC) indicate which border he will land at or is it our choice, I live in Ontario. Thanks in advance for the help, Cheers! :)

So in regards to this question, my husband is immigrating to Canada from the U.S. papers are all filed as of Sept. 2013, medicals expire after 1 year, so if the process is taking roughly 15 months.....can we get an extension on the medicals or do we have to get new one done?
