That part of the form doesn't make any sense. I was in the same dilemma back then. I just put a round number very similar to what my option C was saying. Don't worry about too much. You certainly don't have to do a manual calculation.

I understand your frustration but do not panick. It will not take Buffalo 30 weeks to send you an acknowledgment of receipt. Give it about 3 weeks and by then they should have a file number for you which you will get in a letter when they start processing your application. Hang in there!

The client ID on the sponsorship approval is the sponsor's Clients Id not yours. Yours ( on the letter from Buffalo) is a different number.

We are in a similar situation. We sent the original state police clearances and then we got the same letter asking for them again and gave us 90 days. That was in October. The sponsorship approval will mailed to the sponsor. After the file hasbeen transferred to Buffalo, you'll be the one who is contacted and you'll also get an Acknowledgment of Receipt once Buffalo started processing.

Does anyone know how long it will take for Buffalo to response to email enquiries. so far we have a received a response within 24 hours but this time it's been 4 days and still response.

If the prinicipal applicant is a US citizen which I am assuming he/she is based on your name then it would be Buffalo.

On top of all the stress you must have been through prior to submitting the application, I am sure you're furious and have every reason to. Maybe you want to wait until the sponsorship part gets looked at and see if they will send your application back or not. If not, once Buffalo starts...

Most likely this will cause complications but most importantly you have to make sure the incident was more than 5 years ago. It it has been over 5 years, she should be able to apply for Rehabilitation but you're probably looking at a longer than usual processing times. When are you looking to apply?
