I think I know why....... Because I was legally in Canada for more than 1 year as student & then as temp foreign worker. But still, how will N.Delhi treat my case? I was in Canada on application date (Apr 2008). Will it be helpful if I remain in Canada while N.Delhi processes my file.

This may sound like a wild thought...... Can you go to a 3rd country, say like Mexico on tourist visa & then send your passport to NY from there. You'll have to check the details though. This may seem too much work, but when the Canadian PR is at stake.....well.

Anybody has any experience with interviews. I know people who were handed their medical papers after a successful interview. But in my case medicals have been done.

Just be aware a work experience letter alone is not always sufficient. In my case, I submitted work-exp letter along with payslips & tax details for my current job which was ok with them. But for my old job, I could only submit work-exp letter which was not enough for them.

I don't know abt US postal service, but Canada post has a service where you can redirect the mail received at old address to a new address for 6 months or so. Once you get ur AOR then change the address with them. Check with the local post office.
