Yes, this is AIP. Since you just requested the OWP by mail, they may take a few more days/weeks to process it. Next time, do it online, they take 7 - 10 days. Good luck!

Re: Having AIP and OWP If you have a valid multiple entries Canadian visa, there is no problem at all. I've done it, I only got AIP and OWP. Now again, you need to have a VALID MULTIPLE ENTRIES CANADIAN VISA....

Hi there, I don't wanna sound...idk... but I believe the info above is not totally right. Only stage 1 has been approved. You have two links: "Decision Made" and "In Process," decision made on stage 1 and in process stage 2.

If you already got your AIP, when you click "In Process," you can see when they started to process the second stage.

Hi Naz, If you want to travel before you receive your second stage approval, then yea, renew your visa. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother... According to the CIC website, pregnancy doesn't help any case. Good luck!

You can't. You now received a temporary SIN (Tax ID). Once the process is complete, you will be able to receive your permanent new SIN (starting with the number 3). Good luck!
