as an american, i don't think you will have much problem entering Canada and going out if you choose to apply outland. but of course, the onus is left for you to prove to the IO that you are just going for a visit if need arises.

You only need your ecowas passport to travel to accra, either by bus, aircraft or by witchcraft lol, I used just my passport when travelling to accra last year without hassle. if you have a national identity card, its also acceptable

Do you mean the stage two of the inland application process took just 4 days not 8months after the 11-12 month sponsorship approval ? if this is what you mean, then its pretty fast and very possible for someone to finish the inland process in less than a year just wanted to be sure
