Write to IRCC yourself, on their website, you can find the details you need to provide, and a reasonable reason that your family member is not here for tourism, you have a chance to get the written authorization, been waiting for 4 weeks, still no reply yet.

How long did it take you to get a reply from IRCC? Thanks.

Exactly, but they still working on the cases sent before May 29, even on weekend.

Buffalo is still working on our case, my friend passport issue date is on weekend, means although weekend, they are still working. But looks like student Visa getting fast, but work permit slow.Mine is May 17, still no response.

Lots of friends sent around May 20, and they already got their passport, but they are students Visa, I am wondering work permit will get slow.
