Yes I landed in Canada, finished my landing formalities and returned home. I had the card mailed to one of my friends address in Canada and he delivered it to me on his next visit to India. How long will the process take to sponsor my wife.

Myself and my wife are in India right now. I am planning to travel to Canada in a short time and wish to sponsor her under the family class. I was not married to her when I got my PR card hence me having to do this. Which is the best way to tacle this problem and how long will the processing take?

My PR card was issued on 02/06/2010 and on the face of the card under Expiry/Expiration it says 14 July / July 15, no year is mentioned. I am confused what this means. Can anyone with knowledge be able to help me understand this.
