We sent a Record of Solemnization of Marriage with our application. We were given this document after the wedding ceremony, and it has date and all signatures (witnesses, officials and ours). Two month later we sent a copy of actual marriage certificate. It works.

Hi all 2012 applicants, Today we got good news from CIC, we got our AIP, though sponsor’s ecase still shows “application received” . They received our application in April and no changes since then. Congrats to all who got their AIP and good luck to someone who is still waiting :)
