I got the letter from CIC but my lawyer told me I'll be landing Scarborough.

So today I got this letter from the CIC which said, "We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed...." and I will be landing in Scarborough!! :D :D :D :D It turns out I don't need to apply for a police check from my home country since I came to Canada...

Though I'm not sure what's going on...since I haven't sent out the Police Clearance Check yet as it is only sent when some high authorities requested it. Does "A decision has been made and you will be contacted" means I've got my AIP approval or this whole case is done?

I just opened my ECAS and it said, We received your application for permanent residence on July 18, 2011. We started processing your application on August 3, 2011. Medical results have been received. A decision has been made and you will be contacted. I'm tearing!!!!!!!

arjun29, I will make a photo copy of this cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp and explain to her that you are allowed to stay in the country legally while your application is being processed. Also, just in case you want to extend / apply for a visa, here is the link...
