Hi all I send an email I m waiting after submitting medical and police clearance send on Oct 2016 after winning appeal. The response says we can't give any time frame as application going through final checks. Any idea what it means.

Mine n Omar have same time line almost I applied for passport on 19 may got it on 24 May keeping in mind was a long weekend n I applied on regular basis by mail wasn't bad at all. n those going through RQ stay strong hopefully soon ur journey for citizen will be over soon as well..

Have to wait 48 hrs I applied 19 May even with the long weekend got it 23 May yesterday applied normal processing in Mississauga Ontario

I passed my test 19 April Mississauga got oath invite less then a week I guess 2 or 3 days within n had oath on 10 May.

I m confused a bit so as per my understanding coming back to Canada will need Canadian passport n that will be enough proof am i right in saying that please correct me if I m wrong. Thanks

withdrawing very citizenship application u may loose right to appeal as far as I know.

I don't think it matters don't over think for myself he landed July 2013 I applied Sep 2015. but as long as u don't have any issues with residency or any other citizenship requirement u will be fine. I m not the only one there are too many people who applied n never had an issue so hopefully it...

Same case as my son he came in 2013 as long my status is clear as an adult I mean full filled all requirements of citizenship they didn't even check anything for him except at the end took his pr card on oath that's all don't stress. on u r child application I remember submitting his pr card...

It happened with me don't worry after ur test it will be updated with decision made once u get oath letter that's what happened to me as well

better to do it properly with ur back up like police report instead of assuming that u will show up with old pr card n it might be OK .But better be up front as u never know they can consider it as misrepresentation...

The one u lost was a valid one? n if that's the same one u attached with ur application n taken with ur citizenship test then I guess they might need. please try to find one u lost as its the last stage n as far as I know only thing they check at oath is passport n do take ur pr back. But wait...

congratulations I m also going in 2nd week of May. may I ask how long whole process took for the ceremony. I have oath time at 8 a.m

If someone wants to reschedule oath due to any reason have to contact cic within 30 days. That's what says on the oath letter but I believe have to give the reason as well.

I can totally understand ur frustration n trust me you are not alone. But recording n then posting it as well can cause trouble as cic might monitor these forums as well so just be careful. n I work in a call center n if I am calling someone I have to say the call is recorded.
