i figure i'd give an update on this thread since it seems like most people here are from the Seoul Visa Office. My wife just received her COPR in the mail...so the passport biopage request was a good sign for us! Best of luck to everyone and happy to answer any questions.

apologies for bringing this up again but I figure I have to at least try. My wife just officially got her COPR in the mail. She is due to have our baby Dec 10th. I know we are supposed to wait 3 months from now but is their ANYONE out there who has successfully received OHIP before the 3 month...

COPR received today in the mail (dated Oct.22nd)!!!! If anyone is curious it was an out land app through the Seoul Visa Office.

Hi there. My wife is korean and has lived in Korea her whole life but she studied in Australia for just under a year about 8 years ago. Does this mean we have to obtain an Australian police check in addition to her Korean police check? Thanks in advance.

just an update...the Seoul VO started processing my app August 28th! :)

seoul received my app in july 2012 and the website has already updated to "in process" and have requested a couple additional docs from me (bio page, updated police check)...so i think they're picking up the pace!
