    Any landings?

So mango.lassee, What did you finally do? Am in the same situation. Am landing as a family of 3, CIC website states 16580 CAD as the min. funds requirement for 3 people. Can I take like 8000$ each in cashier's check (draft) in me and my wife's name? Will that suffice since individually it's less...

    Any landings?

Hi RV, Did you give a Ontario address to send the PR card? If yes, you've busted another myth too that you should give an AB address only. Also, you entered back into the US with no stamping and with just the petition+I94. Wow..Aren't US immigration supposed to take your fingerprints (like they...

ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

Bendjoe - USPS envelope with stamps/tracking no. could work. Basically, the consulate doesn't accept an envelope with a credit card no. Sukhminder - I didn't call up the consulate. Both the times they reached me which was from a blocked number. Till I got PPR, even my medicals status wasn't...

Actually, getting stamping in person option wasn't given to me. The consulate official added it's not a one or two days job anyway, when I asked if I can come with my family (I wanted to finish off this year's DisneyLand trip for my daughter ;-). A point here: If you want the consulate to fedex...

I know the wait must be killing, RJ and wish you good luck for happy news soon. Sending an email to your consulate wouldn't hurt I guess. Do you have any PCCs or some document left to be sent? I mean something like this could definitely bring your case's attention to the officer in LA (Marilyn...

Forgot to ask this. Someone in this forum talked about entering to Canada multiple times using the stamped visa (given after PPR). Is it not a onetime visa and for subsequent entries, one has to have the PR card? Please confirm my understanding.

Hi, Is it possible/allowed to land in Toronto and then proceed to Alberta? Am planning to leave my family at a relative's place in Toronto (for few weeks) till things are setup in AB (Don't want to land in a totally unknown place with a toddler) Will there be questions in Toronto Airport during...

Yes. LA consulate sent PPR in 25 days after the case was transferred. Update: I got the stamped passports delivered today. The stamping is till May 2010 (an year after the date the medicals have been received). The passports came along with the CPR (confirmation for permanent residency) form...

To add, the ECAS status still shows up as "In process" for me. Hope they change it to approved or something in a little while. And it never got changed to "Medicals received" (just to give a perspective on LA consulate).

Sorry RJenkins and Bendjoe..Was busy at work and couldn't update later. My PPR letter had the date of June 8 and it reached me on June 11th. Hi, I got a call today from LA consulate that my passport request has been sent today to my immigration representative (have engaged one). The reason I was called was, to let me know that the PPR is sent to my representative as they saw my address change request (that I sent last week as I...

Hi, I am also in the same boat as yours. My AINP case has been transferred to LA consulate. Btw, I have a question on state PCCs. Have resided in 3 states in US - MN, AZ and NC. AZ (Arizona) doesn't issue a state PCC and only issues a letter saying "Legally we're not allowed to. It can be got...
