I wonder if there is any other way to prove language proficiency, like using the assessment results given by an Canadian immigration officer from a previous application. Because in my previous application, the officer mentions there that I have intermediate French ability, and can speak English...

Thank you for the encouragement, IG, it's just I've been doing this for far too long, and seeing too many people leaving ahead of me, without any need to hire consultants and filing additional applications, and I'm wondering now if this is really for me or not. Somebody help me break this wall.

the visa officer did not give any points for the 2 year vocational diploma I finished. If they gave full points for that, I will pass. As I already mentioned, the reason is not enough points. But my question to everybody is this: has anybody successfully appealed for a refused application...

application has been refused due to lack of points, but certain factors like education have not been given points. Appeal letter has been sent many months ago to point this out to them, including supporting documents, but still no reply. Follow up has been sent already, but also waiting for...

Has anybody filed an appeal for a provincial nomination application that has been refused due to lack of points, and became approved? If anybody has done so successfully, please share what you did and how it went.

Some more questions here: Is it standard procedure for every person from every country to send the forms first to CIO, with no exceptions? And will there be an interview at any step of the process, and when?

What if there is information in the previous application that is not consistent with the future application (like different birthday, work experience, education, etc.), what kind of problems will this cause if any?
