ppr july 30 sent on july 30 via fedex received by LA VO on july 31 VO sent pp back on sep 6th Still waiting to receive it in the mail

MPs office called me yesterday saying LA visa office mailed out my passport on sep 6th and status was updated to decision made sept. 7th. hoping to get my passport in the coming week. godspeed to all waiting for medicals, ppr or pp return

i only contacted his office last week tues. they said once they hear back from the consulate they are going to call me. i've received no such call so far which means LA have not responded to their inquiry.

hello marnest, yes, i did follow up with my MP. Their office sent out an email inquiry on tues and on fri my e-case status changed to 'decision made'. LA VO have not responded to the inquiry but i will assume the email helped move things along. hoping to get my passport back soon.

i got a similar status update too. The 2-3 weeks for pp return feels too long

That's a relief!!...I sent mine on July30th too received on July 31st with money order still pending to be cashed. What's surprising is if you took the passport in person you get it back same day but mail it in and it takes them over a month to do the same job...very efficient

oh man that's really awful. i hope they get their sh*t together and realize that quite a few of us are waiting for over 2 years and need to move on with our lives. you ought to contact the company in calgary and explain your situation, they might hold the position a little longer. good luck

Hey Soop, got my medical request may 17th did them on may 28th. I do not know when they reached ottawa but my e-case was updated on june 19th with "medicals have been received" status.

Hello Everyone, I got an email this afternoon for my ppr. I gathered the required documents and mailed everything off by fedex. Thank God the wait is finally over. I hope and pray for all that are waiting for ppr. Thank you and God Bless
