Hello Applicants, My application was also received on 31st of October 2011 and up till now I have not heard from them. I wrote them today and I am expecting to hear from them soon.

How did you know there was a lag period of about two months? And if true, then is their fault.

No I do not think so. As at 31st October 2011, according to their weekly update, the number in my NOC was just 336 so I do not think that is the problem. Moreover the cap was not reached until about four weeks after mine was received.

Hello, Your case is almost similar to mine. Through post office tracking my application reached CIC office on 31st of October 2011 and up till now I have not heard from them. I just wrote them today and am hoping for a reply.
