Let's share our timeline over here. My file was transferred to Seattle on Nov 2011. It has been over 15 months since I applied.It is really suffocating to wait like hell. Has anyone been this longer? Thanks Guys

Check with US embassy. It doesn't take long. They will call you for an interview before issuing a visa. Good luck

Hi balbamrah, if you are worried about work permit, don't worry. Write an email to BC pnp for work permit support letter. Make sure to mention your certificate number and date of aproval. And ask your employer to give you a new offer letter. If you are near border, drive there and get falg pole...

you better ask your employer to have a positive LMO and send it to you right away. You can't work without work permit, TRV is only to enter Canada. The border official may ask you about new LMO when you arrive in the airport.

Why don't you ask with present employer a positive LMO and once you get it, apply for new work permit instead of going to India.

Job_seeker is correct. you should apply for restoration and OWP at the same time, Attach the copy of your wife;s work permit, pay stubs for her, her contract letter etc. It shouldn't take long time. Do it right away before your 90 days of restoration period expires.
