Wow, I hope it is true. The removal of the s/w related NOCs from the OUP list will definitely reduce the number of applicants by and by a huge margin. Hardluck for the s/w H1b guys who haven't applied yet.

I can't believe ppl turn to AlbertaGovernor for help, he should be visiting a psychiatrist full time.

That's where the stats on this site point us to, hopefully file# by the end of this month, for those who applied in the later half of Feb this year. But you never know! I am not being pessimistic, just realistic.

Sad but true, AINP no longer looks like a lucrative option. :(

Yeah things might not go as per the planned timelines and the AINP folks are no exception to this :)

Yes I've heard that presentation too and would like to believe so, but the fact remains that Alberta folks are indeed looking out for more "Engineering" background professionals. There must be some demand for the IT guys as they have kept the NOC codes for the same, but the application numbers...

Yup, It is toooooo early to expect anything from them now, please hold on for around 4 months (as per their current processing times)

Indeed! It took no more than 3 minutes for me to get all the docs notarized. Notaries in US don't need your originals as they don't certify it as a true copy (you declare them true copies in their presence)
