Hi All, Myapplication was received on 2nd feb. Today i received my file number which is XXXX-XX-1606. Can i track my application thru the file number? Or just wait for nommination....

Has any one received file number recently? My application reached on 2nd feb under new process (without pre assessment) there is bsolutely no news except in April they requested for additional document. I have no idea whats happening and what should be done.

You mean 9 months for nomination to come after one receive the file number? Thts toooooooo much. we applied for AINP bcoz we were tired of long process of GC here. I think AINP is also going in same direction now

My application was received by Edmonton on 2nd feb. Today they sent a query. They asked for USCIS petition letter from my husband's present employer. They want it before 27th March. So who ever has sent the file before this or around this time and there is no query, you should receive file...

My application reached Alberta on 2nd feb 09. After a week my husband was laid off. if he donot get job till 23rd April we will have to leave the country. We are already in 6th yr on H1b so no one is ready to transfer H1b. I called up Hotline number to confirm that as application has gone before...
