I landed in Canada on 1st of Sept and my friend called me yesterday to inform that PR cards were received.

No need to apply. All you need to do is provide your address to the officer which he will write on COPR. PR cards will be automatically mailed to the address you have provided. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/pr-card/index.asp FR

Hi, I am planning to use AVR after completing the landing formalities. I have not informed my employer on my Canada PR and hence wont be able to provide documents other than I-797. Will the officer at the POE ask for any document other than I797 while coming back?

tonyind, I am planning to complete the landing formalities at Niagra POE next month. I am not sure if I can apply for SIN or Healthcard there. I have seen people applying from Calgary or Toronto but not from Niagra POE. Where did you apply for SIN and healthcard?
