if somebody will be refused of a visitor visa extension and they are already on implied status how long will they be allowed to get a ticket and leave? will the implied status affect future travel to canada given they have multiple entry visa?

2 of my friend received email from CIC 1st friend applied PR September 2011 was asked to pay landing fee.. 2nd friend October 2011 applicant 1st stage approval and asking dependent to undergo medical.

if you are just crossing US you dont need multiple visa. single entry visa will do. but I maybe wrong, please give us an update after as we are waiting for your next step, God bless you

I think they will send you the medical request form after applying in NYC. I dont have any idea if you can have your medical done without the request.

Try to extend your visa first if youre not yet sure about going to the border.
