does the last few digits of the file number reflect the number of cases they evaluated?

applied under old process. application received on Feb 02, 2009 received file number today: 0757 the email still says that waiting time is 40-60 days. Don't know why it was mentioned as 9 months.

From the most recent cases, it looks like it takes about 1 month to receive the file number and another month to receive the final decision in mail. Funny thing is i see so many ppl with same NOC code of 2171. Hopefully this is not the only occupation they actually want to have.

my understanding is that you will be issued a certificate which you will send together with your cic files. Any other docs from AINP you need send to CIC? thanks.
