Yes it is. At least the basics, if you can show some evidence of a course or two that will be awesome. They'll probably call you for an interview. They waived my interview because a French teacher. Good Luck

learn some French and apply to Quebec, then move wherever you want. They denied mine also because of my occupation as a teacher in a technical school. Didn't comvince them. Then I applied throught Quebec, got Visa this week. Good Luck

Sorry. I went through the thing. Decision made before medicals. I got the refusal letter a week after. It was because of my occupation ( not on the 38 list). I then applied to Quebec and got accepted. Good luck

it took them about two months to change the status to Medicals recieved; that was yesterday, and I got the passport request today. Don't worry, they'are moving fast. You'll get the letter soon. Many thanks to all the members. Keep it up seniors.

Some people have made it to Canada even their legal status has expired. you have to prove that you stayed legally in the usa for more a year. good luck

I went through the smae process. Quebec province are (i think)easy going while dealing with your file. they waived my interview and didn't ask me to notarize the documents as i forgot to do so. thank you and good luck.

They will usually look at the actual real reasonable funds, and then decide whether to approve or disapprove. They should be convinced that you are coming back after the expiration of your VISA.
