Same situation as yours still no progress. In fact to make things worse my file has been transferred to Seattle on the 9th of this month.

I got an email this morning from Buffalo Office. My file has been transferred to Seattle Office for processing. I am an April 2011 applicant. Dont know whether it is good or bad sign? Anyone in same situation ?

Same thing happened with my application on E cas today ie 27th jan. My new address in Canada finally got updated. Almost after 4 months of request. Although I have moved back home.

Hi. I am an April 2011 applicant. I left Canada in Decemeber as I couldnt get Visitor Visa and my PGWP expired. Medicals were sent in August 2011. Just wondering if I should update the Consulate by email that I have left Canada?

Same story here too. I am April 2011 applicant. Medicals received in August. Eversince then no reply. Get an automated message all the time "application in process. No further action required"

the processing time is 15 months. All I have to be is patient :(

As far as my knowledge goes there is not point submitting your application to Buffalo if you decide to leave right after submitting it. This goes for everyone, you can leave Canada after getting AOR, your file wont be transferred to home county. Medicals can be done anywhere. Anytime before...

Once you receive AOR there is no problem leaving Canada. Your file wont be transferred to your home country. Medicals can be done within a day really. All you hv to do is to book an appointment with any doctor mentioned in the list by Immigration Canada. It can cost you approx 250$ Somehow I...

Its quite unfortunate really that early 2011 applicants hv to wait for this long. All we can do is to wait hoping to hear from them very soon !
