ok so I'm getting a little concerned/worried... they start counting the 16 months from the date the "application was received" according to ecas, correct? Or do they count it from the time the application was "in process" ? :o

We submitted our application in August of 2011, which is 16 months in December, but I heard they start counting from the date of the AOR which was in October of 2011 for us. It would be really crappy if they took the full 16 months until February but immigration is usually pretty concrete with...
